COMMON QUESTIONS FROM CONTRACTS MANAGERS

Are all your engineers ATEX-certified and qualified for work in explosive atmospheres?
We have certified electricians who are employed by Inpulze Electrical (including the two co-owners) who are fully ATEX certified and qualified to work in hazardous environments.

2. Can you support us from the design and planning phase through to installation and testing?
​
Yes, we work closely with ATEX designers and engineers to make sure their designs can be installed.
3. How do you ensure full traceability and documentation for each ATEX installation?
​
We maintain complete traceability by recording every component, test, and certification throughout the ATEX installation process. All documentation, including conformity certificates, inspection reports, and test results, are securely stored and linked to each project, ensuring full compliance and transparency.

4. What type of hazardous area environments have you previously worked in?
​
We have experience of working in factories and warehouses that handle potentially explosive materials. We currently service multiple sites throughout the UK dealing with Hazardous areas covered by Ex01-Ex04 (Gas & Vapours) & Ex05-Ex06 (Dust).

5. How do you minimise downtime or operational disruption during ATEX / Compex electrical work?
​
It’s all in the planning. We work closely with our client pre-installation, making sure we know the type and nature of the business and look at all different ways to minimise our time on site so the client doesn’t suffer with long periods of downtime.
